So, if you don't have five 'qualified spenders' in a month, you lose all your commissions? If that's accurate, it's pretty harsh, but if that's a policy they want to introduce going forward then that's up to them, nobody has to promote them.

However, I doubt there's a court anywhere which would think it fair you could lose commissions from customers referred prior to the revised T&Cs because it's quite clearly a breach of the contract formed when those customers first registered.

While the company is perfectly entitled to change its T&Cs at any time, changing T&Cs CANNOT alter the terms of contracts entered into before the change. If it could, it would render the very concept of a contract meaningless.

Presumably though someone has made a calculation that the people who will get cut-off probably aren't going to challenge this in the courts...

Yes you are right, it's up to them if they decided to steal from us. I dont believe courts would solve this, what I believe is that they made a calculation about how much they would loose in new signups by kicking out lots of affiliates and how much they will earn stealing their comissions. They probably found it would be positive to them loosing the affiliates and steal their comissions. I just hope they are wrong

Spot on, especially since the terms are governed by Hong Kong law.

That doesn't really mean anything. They're trading worldwide so can be taken to court anywhere where their affiliates are based. The difficulty comes in enforcing any judgement.

Well I know you have as about as much chance forcing them to pay you in Hong Kong as you do where they are all actually based, which is in Russia and the Ukraine.

We know that. We are pissed off, this is a way of venting our anger. Not as good as a kick in the teeth, but these forums do prevent violence sometimes. It will wear off soon and we will be pissed off at someone else.

My CamSense.com, CamContacts.com ... account (179055) was deleted today (after 8 or 9 years advertisement for them)

Enter your Webmaster ID and your password at the top of the screen to sign in.
Error: Invalid username/password

My it is possible to get the money what they owe to me by a court, but doesn't matter ... I prefer to spend the money what it will cost into "bad" advertisement for them, it is more funny for me.

On the other hand, the prospect of losing recurring commissions would surely give any affiliate a moment of pause before switching to another cam provider, so it does kind of lock them in to CamSense, rather than drive them away.

Yes, you are right... BUT ... If they will change her mind in the next days again back to what they have provided to us in the past ... For me it is not possible to go back to them, because I have lost my confidence into this company.

Yes :-)

Because I have told it for them.

And this is a sign for me that they do not think about to change it back... just for information to all.

If they are really Russians/Ukrainians - like someone said here - they never will change their mind again, this is what I can tell after 52 times Russia, and 4 years of living in Ukraine (as a German). They are too greedy and they everytime tink that they do not need you - after a time.

Default Legalities

I've been reading the comments on here after a search today.
I have also had payments cancelled and account deactivated.

On the issue of 'class actions' the previous comment regarding contracts is correct and there appears to be grounds for legal recourse.

If you do your own research into the matter and find the same I believe there is very strong case for a class action.

Any further comments welcomed.
