I just had an idea. Could any of you folks that are uploading from the UK to a foreign host out of the UK (Europe or USA in most cases I think) just add a response saying that's what you do.

If possible as well, just mention the country you receive payment in also. (Don't worry I'm not a police officer trying to entrap anyone!!! I'm a legit adult webmaster in Spain as I have stated all along).

This would help me gauge how many webmasters are currently in the UK doing what I want to do. I do appreciate that 99.99% of you wish to remain anonymous & this would really help me alot.

Incidentally I heard from my UK solicitor today who mentioned that he wasn't well clued up on this matter, but the 1998 Human rights Act liberalised the concept of what is acceptable within the UK adult industry.

Get your lawyer to recommend a lawyer who actually knows what they are talking about then get proper advice. Trying to understand the legalities of a business on the basis of what you read on message boards is very mickey mouse.

I asked the local police station some time back.

The chap looked at me, and asked if it was child porn I was doing. I said no. He said he was not bothered then, ans not to wast his time.

I keep all my model release forms in two folders with id's.

Plus all my cd's are named.

I know I am not breaking any laws, so I do not care.

I have often thought about phoning the police (pretending to be somone else) and report myself for doing porn. The idea is if I went to court, it would be free publicity in the press.

I have 7 press nombers that I was told to phone for publicity. Heck I will even admit to a few crimes if you wish. Yes it was me who was jack the ripper.

I hope you are the police, as it would not suprise me if you were trying to catch inicent people out on minor technicalities. After all its easer than catching the scum who sell drugs to kids, and the low lifes that beat up old ladies.

These days police are not interested in who they arrest, they just want to get convictions.

When I went a few years back to my local station to tell them what I was doing, I told the sergent that he they ever did arest me, I hope they new they it would be a win win for me.

Lets face it, the story alone would get me a few $$$. And I am sure I would get a decent job in a PR firm.

So daft as it sounds, court would be the best thing for me.

Easy.

The story would sell (I would get a few $$$ for that). Just think "Porn seller arrested". I would make sure at least one web address was included. Imagine being in the sun, how many hits I would get. Even if the site name was not shown, people would try to find it.

And longer it goes on, more I make sure I am in the papers and on TV. I will point out that I was a nurse, and I look after my elderly relative.

In the mean time, I have 3 people will a full copy of all my stuff so all I will do is use their pc.

Even if I got a fine, the revenue from the sites would pay for it.

If you think it would not work, then look at the USA. Almost each month a net porn story hits the news.

Come on. You can be legal and never comited a crime, but these days that means nothing.

Heck a little old lady got an ASBO for feeding birds in her garden. If she does it again off to jail. In thery if I say the UK goverment is wrong and I suport a group of peoples points of vies (such as animal rights, IRA) I could (or soon could) be sent to prison.

Heck you can go for a walk and get shot in the head.

Being a desent citizen means nothing to the police. Its just targets these days that they must meet.

Anyway, even if they do not charge you, it will still make a story. At the end of the day you can get in the papers with your site address, it is great.

In the mean time (if your clever) you inform the papers.

Think in turms of PR. I guess as I have a marketing background I am used to being able to turn things around. For me I would just use my PR skills.

Come on if you want me to go into this more then you should pay. This is pure marketing.
