What is better to promone, old or new sites?

Old has the advantage that they may be well known andpeople may even search for them.

Downside is that they are heavily promoted.

New, is that they are new. As such not promoted a lot so more chance to get customers. But downside is no one may know about the site.

in an ideal world, probably a mixture is best - suppose the longer your in the biz, the more likely you are to be hitting both in practice.

i would guess it depend on how you promote them, new site would do better on galleries, ect while older sites can do better with seo
