Do we pay more for Google Ad-words

Is it just me or did i miss something ! Google ad-words how come we have to pay a minimum of 5 Pence per click and the Yanks only have to pay 5 Cents a click for the same traffic

Is there any way you could sign up as a yank and pay the 5c by going in as an American?

Try http://www.google.com/ncr

This should set a cookie not to redirect you using the geo targeting. Don't know if it works right up to the signup point, but might be worth a try?

I have been using ad-words for a while now and our minimum is £0.04

Have they up'd the minimum for new accounts then? If so do you have the url to the info?

It's just I am recommending this service to the girls on our network and have quoted them £0.04 as the minimum.

when on a local google site like .co.uk try to put google.com in the search field and search for it, then click on the link. tends to work for me.

also using the google toolbar allows you to set the google version it pulls up.

Or you could try my link, the nrc means no country redirect, so it won't redirect you the country based on the IP it detects. May need to clear your cache. I just went and it gave me the option to pay in anything from Moroccan Dirham through pounds, through US Dollars...

Mobscene thanks for the link and info, Sorry for the late reply got tied up with family issues. All worked fine ! signed up to pay US Dollars then got the message that i need to click on the link sent to me in my email to activate the account but the damn thing never arrived

Will try again tomorrow using a different email addy

No i think you still can bid 0.04 but 99% of my words seem to cost 0.05 I guess its all down to the keywords your shooting for
