Thought it was about time we started working together on here a bit more, so are there any paysite owners who fancy trading some content for use on each other's sites? We're only talking a pic gallery at most, or possibly just a headshot & hardlink inside the members area. We will of course reciprocate & together we will watch those cross-sells fly!
Anyone? Anyone?

Please don't tell me nobody's gonna respond to this? The drama thread has 3 pages, and my biz related thread has 0 replies. That's a sad indictment of this board I think.
Oh, no, I've had 1 PM.
You would be better off finding other single girl sites to swap with.

Yeah maybe - but anything in the niches we cover would be good - big boob, teen, latina, smoking fetish etc.

Maybe most here with paysites don't have one to fit your niche.

Speaking honestly is perfect. Constructive criticism is perfect. I'd just prefer to see thoughtless complements over thoughtless slagging thats all.
so all 'slagging' you take notice of is thoughtless. a tad generalising, innit?

It's thoughtless whether I see it or not. When a tree falls in the forest it still makes a sound ;)

To clarify (cos I know you won't let me get away with that -HF!) I consider it a waste of time to automatically slag something off when there's no point doing it. In the same way, it's wrong to praise something that's obviously shit. I'd rather see pointless postitivity than negativity though.

Maybe most paysite owners dont want upsells in their members areas? Do you inform your webmasters that you have upsells? Or do you run two members areas?
A sad indictment of a program it its full of upsells I think

Yeah that is an issue. Is there a line where a signup is no longer the shared property of the affiliate and the owner? It's our job to try & keep that member happy and keep him rebilling so the affiliate and ourselves make more money, but shouldn't we be able to do whatever we like inside our own members area? We do have seperate tours for affiliate and non-affiliate traffic, but we don't have split members areas. That would need a meatier CMS than the one we have.

so where did you experience anyone slagging someone else off by default?

Not on either of the boards we've been talking about here. Not as a rule anyway. I am generalising.

I think you should sell products, that would be a good start and as an affiliate would not have any issues with that type of upsell.
My only concern as an affiliate is that you could reduce the rebill ratio's by moving surfers on. :)

I would have liked to swap stuff, but im none of those niches. *sigh* - not yet anyway :D

Elisha, do you run an affiliate program for you're sites?

Or are running a partner program.

We are going to be launching a proper affiliate program very shortly.. although we're going to be looking for a few beta testers first. Only thing is at the moment we'll only be able to payout with epassporte until we've sorted ways to pay in cheques.
My ccbill revshare tour is still running and i'm leaving it up to credit people with signups, but I'm not really wanting to plug that anymore because it sucks :D

May I ask what system you are moving to? What you are explaining seems to happen a lot here in the UK, people move to new affiliate systems which saves a few points on the processing fees though then have to deal with all the admin in house.
What I am learning since seeing a couple of programmes leave CCBill is that the payout dates are really sparadic and often require chasing. You seem to be understanding of your affiliates by leaving the old tours in place.
Would it therefore not be advantageuos of you to offer webmasters two options even if its till you are able to cut and ship your own cheques? Outpayments to your affiliates is a big responsibility one that I feel programme owners are quick to move down their list of things to do.
Chqs still remain the best way to get, easy to record and simple to bank no matter what currency they turn up in.
I hope some of this is helpful to you, what I have wrote is based on real experience, I am sure you have thought all this through but if I stumbled across a programme that offered just EP payout I would be very concerned at its stability.
This may sound really harsh but I think you could do your business real harm by turning your back on CCBill. :)

Yeah you may be right - offering them more of the same, eg, big boobs, might just encourage them to move on. We'll definately be selective in what other sites we promote inside memebrs areas.

We're moving to a cascading billing solution with paycom EU as primary, CCbill as secondary...and eventually WTS and possibly SMS as alternatives using nats.

I understand completely what you are saying - I promote a few sponsors myself and i'm constantly waiting for money from some of them. We will be running a system very similar to lovercash where we payout on the 1st and 16th of every month. We created a ccbill tour especially for my old affiliates because traffic still gets sent by them and I know from being an affiliate to some programs I would be completely unhappy if my signups weren't being credited. Also the affiliates can't change the linking codes on galleries they have submitted to TGPs as you will know so it seems only fair to keep a ccbill tour for them.

I think that is a great idea. I would primarily like people to sign up to the new system. Since wts have stopped offering their cheque writing service its made it harder to pay us affiliates with us cheques but getting uk cheques out shouldn't be a problem at all. Of course there are affiliates out there who simply don't trust other programs and would prefer to be paid directly by ccbill which is oki doke by us :)

I really appreciate your input and suggestions (if you have any more, send them my way) :) Going down the route we are going was a big step for us, but we're looking forward to running a decent affiliate management system. We should be launching the program with four or five websites (if not straight away we will be getting five within a few months). We're looking into any other methods of paying affiliates including moneybookers and getting an american cheque service from natwest but we haven't been in touch with our business manager yet. If you would be interested in beta testing us out before we launch properly, I would be very greatful.
And dave.. im sorry i seem to have hijacked your thread lol

sell mens health products - Click Here (http://mensniche.com/wmreg/hit.php?w=102557)
Make one sale a day over a 30 day period you pick up something like $3K, now unless you up sell to a large number of your own users I think this route will prove to be a better return for you.
Your surfers are 'wankers' happy to buy online so you may be supprised how many sales you get.
