View Full Version : calender plug-in
i'm doing the website for the school of our kids. so far there is a content management system in use, which i personally don't like much anymore, so i consider replacing it by a regular website. for that i would need some script that gives me a calendar which i can have on the site, with a scheduler option, so important dates - holidays, school events, ... - can be entered and displayed.
before is start trying out a dozen, anyone use anything like that and are happy with it?

Here's a couple of nice freebies...
http://www.upoint.info/cgi/demo/calpublisher/
http://upoint.info/cgi/demo/eventpub/index.shtml
i should stress, it's for the school, they are stingy and pay nuffink, while my taxes are pumped into their system.
to make it short, they are wortyh of a free script. i like that looks of your link there. very close to the postnuke plugin calendar.

I use http://upoint.info/cgi/demo/eventpub/index.shtml on a couple of mainstream sites. It's a nice little script and has a feature that allows visitors to submit their own events which you approve or disapprove, or you just let the admin do it. Drop it in a sidebox using SSI, or use the template page.
