Aww maybe its my hormones but this just brought a tear to my eye, i cant believe this tiny baby is smaller than my baby at the moment (im 28 weeks) and will be going home soon It really is amazing just goes to show that good things do happen. Ok gushy preggo moment over and sorry for the BBC link.

It's a bit like that calf that survived the foot and mouth cull and ended up doing pantomime. Humans do not make rational decisions.

There's the story of a group fo students asked if they would pay $10,000 to save a family of africans. They all said "no". They were then asked to imagine a sports car worth $10,000 on a railway track, and a family of africans on the track on a spur. They were to control the direction of the train. They all said they would sacrfice the car.

It's all emotion, and what we see that drives finanical decisions.
