View Full Version : Shopping - If they can do it in Bangkok why not in the UK?
Here in Bangkok at the moment..... Had to go into one of the large malls, for some odds and sods.....
Anyway this mall is 6 stories high, but the revelation is the 4th Floor, which is totally devoted to 'boys toys'...... So you can look at Lambo's, AMs, Bentleys, Ferraris, HiFi systems that will blow your minds as well as your pocket, Sony have a store stuffed with their latest gadgets, video and digital cameras galore (but more expensive than the UK)...... A bar etc etc.....
I suppose the theory is you can dump your women to look at all the girly stuff on their own.. whilst the men can enjoy themselves too.......
Why cant someone do this in the UK? I'm sure such a mall would be a really great success!

Never been to a shopping mall so goingo be quite an experience when I head over to Canada in May.
Apparently our shopping centres hold nothingon them!

yeh that sounds like siam paragon to me, unless bangkok has two shopping centres with ferrari's/lambos.
what day were you there? im there most days, im going there later today to take a girl to the seaworld/oceanworld place there. its a great place to start off a date im probably gonna get a 1 year membership there as this is my 5th time there so far.. :D:D:D

siam paragon also has some extremely fine restraunts on the ground floor, at the back (not by food court which is a lot more reasonably priced :D)
Whenever i go to Paris, my wife shops at Galleries Lafayette. It has a Champagne bar where I sit and drink overpriced bubbly. My wife breaks the bank, but I am so drunk I don't care. Marketing. Can't beat it with a stick.

Sorry to have missed trying to meet up... last night tonight..... mrs wants to go back to patpong to eat..... which suits me, got my eye on a nice couple of watches down there.......
