Hey guys,

just finished my new adult site and it would be great to get some feedback - either positive or negative.

http://www.instantvids.com

I've gone for the new SMS payment rather than credit cards - so what do you think ?

I will gladly review your sites in return!! :)

I like it.

the only thing i do not like is the pic of the mobile phone as it looks naff next to the nice site. plus at first i thought it was a site sending films to watch on your phone rather on-line.

i just think that surfers may thinks its a mobile phone content site.

my other thought is what are the vids?

i mean are they amature or pro?

it may be worth having a free sample to show the quality.

cheers for really useful info.

Both of these things are concerns which I already had about the site so thanks for confirming these.

Any ideas how I could make it obvious that customers PAY by mobile phone but DOWNLOAD to their computer?

thanks

just get a good tagline up there prominently, something like

All the porn your PC can handle - Just one quick call away.

Porn - from mobile to monitor 0.86 secs!

Obviously something better than that. Give it a bit of thought and you will encapsulate and convey the idea in one snappy sentence displayed correctly

to be honest, i am not sure that is going to be a problem.

i mean how many sites do you see with a huge credit card on the front.

your better off getting people interested, then they will see out how to pay.

Couldn't agree more. Also, last time I looked the % the operators took makes CCBill/Epoch look like a charity in comparrison.

You also have the problem of underage kids being able to access your site if its reverse SMS billing/premium call.

i agree to a certain extent

but i think it's wise in europe to offer an sms option as secondary

why lose those potential sales ?

in Holland a few people are actually doing very well with sms only billing

It is correct that the return rate is not great in comparison. I will be adding a credit card option soon but was going to keep SMS as the main option.

the big problem is that with your system i do not think you can do a webmaster afiliate system which means your going to have to do a lot of promotional work.

but................

the way you could make it work is to get people to send you there fids and you give then so much per sale. this way they will send people to your site.

one down side with the name vids is that people think of vids (vhs) as low quality. and you also back this up with a pic of a vhs tape on your logo. personaly i would change the pic of the vhs tape to a dvd or somthing.

plus soon there will be people who have no idea what a vhs tape is as they will only have known dvd's.
