I do not think that there are many people now who are not turning into terrists or criminals under labour these days.

I do not just mean that most people now have a criminal record thanks to speed cameras.

What I mean is that each day on the radio I listen to people now trying to finds ways around the law, such as what they can say to get away with speed camera affenses.

Not just that but you get people so qangry they are destroying speed cameras.

A huge amount of people smoke grass, knowing its illigall but thinking to heck with it.

The rich find ways to do tax dodges.

You speak to most people and they are looking at ways to get away with things.

What a great country labour has created.

I bet most people in the uk are now doing some form of crime (sure it may only be minor, but still a crime), some even without knowing. Ie, I used to carry a pocket knife to open dv cases (take the plastic covering off) but it turned out that as it had a safty feature where it locked it was illigall and as such i got a caution!!!!

And if your not doing anything illigall. They can give you an asbow to make what you do illigall. Such as the old lady who fed birds in her garden. She was given an asbo as her nabour did not like birds. Now if she feeds birds she goes to prison.

In fact so many of us are now criminals there are no prison places.

So at least if you commit any crime, after an expensive trial all you get is to be sent home.

Labour have created a new criminal offence every weekday since they came to power.

I think the worst thing is, is thats its the poor who suffer.

An example is, if you get a spped fine, then you can pay it or fight it.

The poor (1) often cannot afford £50, (2) get access to the information to fight it (ie the internet).

So if they do not pasy the fine they then get the charges on top.

Not long ago a girl on tv could not afford the £50 fine, and soon it became £400. In the end she had the balifes take her car. She needed her car for work, and so had to quit work, thus go on the dole (basicly she got sacked as she could not go to work).

This country is now set up for the wealthy. If your poor your stuffed.

Labour are now more right wing than mrs thatcher.

Another example is university. Not so long ago university was about education, and advansing your mind with knoledge. Labour have changed tthis into university means money. As in go to university to get a better paid job. And as such now charges fees.

Only time I ever had to pay a fine the beak asked me how much a week I could manage. I said I'd pay the lot at once, and he said "are you sure?".

Don't they usually do this sort of thing?

LIKE hundreds of thousands of others, Jean Smith has put out food for the birds all her life.

But now the 60-year-old retired teacher and lover of wildlife is facing a daunting prospect.

She is about to become the first person in Scotland to be hauled before the courts for feeding her feathered friends.

Mrs Smith said yesterday she was having to defend herself because her local council had applied for an Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) against her.

It did so after her neighbour in Burntisland, Fife, complained that Mrs Smith’s actions could cause fear and alarm and lead to vermin infestation.

The court action seeks to ban her from feeding wild birds anywhere in the Kingdom of Fife.

Jean, and husband Alan, 71, a retired postmaster, have fought for more than two years to convince Fife Council she is doing no more than every other bird lover does.

But the determination of her neighbour, Detective Sergeant John Muir, has led to the council seeking the order. The case will be heard at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on May 5.

The policeman says his wife Jacqueline has a phobia about mice and rats and claims leaving out food could attract vermin.

The court papers served on Mrs Smith also allege her actions could scare children and the elderly by attracting larger birds, such as gulls.

Environmental health officials tried to resolve the issue by suggesting Mrs Smith feed the birds away from her house at an open area close to the River Forth. But, when she did, another complaint was lodged.

Mr Muir also compiled a dossier of her feeding, while watching her from a bedroom window.

The Smiths retired to Kirkball Road just over two years ago and it was only days after they moved in that Mr Muir voiced his concerns.

Mrs Smith said: “I am not doing this to spite my neighbours. I have always fed birds. I know some can be seen as scavengers, but during the winter in particular they can get close to starvation.

“My neighbour says I had left meat outside, but that’s ridiculous.
“I can’t be held responsible for birds flocking and swooping about in Burntisland.”

Mr Smith claims it has become a vendetta by Mr Muir who last night refused to discuss the row, saying: “I have been advised not to say anything.”

Bird feeding OAP faces Asbo

16 July 2005 - 16:54
An Essex pensioner has reportedly been threatened with receiving an anti-social behaviour order (Asbo) unless she stops feeding birds in her garden.

Epping council have threatened to take action following complaints by neighbours that nuts and breadcrumbs scattered by the 72-year-old widow are attracting unruly pigeons into their homes and gardens.

“I’ve always fed them,” Eileen Davies protested to The Mirror newspaper.
Epping council said there was “concern” over the matter.

I agree it's a bit over the top, but on the other hand a pidgeon is just a flying rat, they are vermin. Many councils have a poisoner. Would you like to see people feeding rats?

From the story you posted

The smell and nuisance caused to local residents by the large amount of bird droppings from pigeons attracted by his persistent feeding, and the carcasses of dead birds and the health implications, meant that action had to be taken

&

A council spokesman said: "Mr Hambleton was warned by the authorities on numerous occasions about feeding the wild birds and his abusive behaviour.

"However, he chose to ignore these warnings, which resulted in the application for the Asbo

&

to be fair, surly the simplist thing would be to get people doing comunity service to go around one a week to clean up the gardens, rather than making some old sole a criminal.

i mean if he/she carries on they will end up taking him to court, giving him a fine or even sending him to prison which helps no one.

If i lived next door to some old boy who fed pidgens and it was making a mess i would simply pop over once a week to tidy it up.

but no, some interfiring sily sod from the council has to but in.

somone came around from the council to moan at my car last year. i told her i used it in porn shoots and if she contacted me again i would take her to court for harasment and anything else my solicitor could do her for. she got a bit upset and reported me to the police for doing porn (silly moo thought it was illigall). i know as a copper came over to tell me, she wanted them to take the car away. he told me to ignore her. basicly she thought she was the law.

The simplest thing would be ask them to stop making their neighbours lives hell as well as de valuing their property, and causing a health hazzard.

If they say no. Force them into it.

Seems like for once the system worked

The answer is simple

if you are poor and cannot (1) afford £50 fine or (2) afford to fight it

then

don't fucking speed!

simple as

if 50 quid are an issue, they should have their car taken away. surely keeping it in roadsafe condition is out of reach for them.
