View Full Version : Where do your send your EXIT traffic?
i still see quite some splash pages warning about the adult nature of the site and asking to click ENTER or EXIT - with the exit leading to google.com
now one can argue that hardly anyone landing on a porn page will want to exit anyway, but there are still the chances of wrong clicks.
why not send the surfer to something non adult?

I cannot think many people will press Leave, unless its not well laid out (I have been on one or two sites that lead you to press the exit button).

1. i did state that most will not want to click out, cheers for backing that one up
2. there are still people landing on your page that didn't want to go there
3. the exit link can be clicked by accident, sending them to another offer of yours makes more sense than handing the mover to a search engine
4. all your adult sites' exit links pointing to a handful of non adult sites of yours surely will not hurt the non adult sites' popularity, quite in contrary
We use Warningpages.com (http://www.warningpages.com/join.php?refer_id=10041) (and may I be the first to spam my ref code hehehe). Sends all exit clicks to a non adult search engine and you get paid per unique. We've earned a suprising amount over the past couple of months on it. The program is run and owned by Rick Latona, so you can be sure it's no scam
I dont bother with warning pages, I was thinking the other day I might, if I do I would sign up to what rosie has suggested (using her id of course :) )

I stopped putting exit links up on promo sites, just put a note that advised people to close the browser.
