sponsors who offer comps

Anyone tried offering comps to get an influx off affiliates?

EG 100% for a moth, $100 per sale for a month etc. If so did they get you more affiliates?

We sometimes give away a few cash prizes like a few $500 and $1000 prizes during a month here and there to affiliates plus iPods and stuff too. I will Get Mrs SGS to speak to John on Monday and see if we can sort something out again shortly.

I'm not sure if it attracts more affiliates now that the business is changing but it is nice to be able to say thank you to the affiliates that already work with us. :)

I do see programs offering stuff to new affilaites and think, wouldnt the existing ones be pissed off. So offering to existing is a nice touch

I've noticed programs that offer comps, which rewards the top x amount of sales sending affs.
And comps that pay a bonus when you hit [x target] which would be say total of your last months sales, work quite well.
