View Full Version : Surfers/members...
I had an email today from a surfer saying he had probs logging in to SGD. I thought with all the security work I've been doing, I might have barred his ip or deleted his password by mistake...
He cancelled in June... DUH
Anyone else get dumb emails ?

See Joe I think you should ditch the trial and wack straight on rebilling then these guys would stay for ever.
This type of mail is comman though with people either thinking they are still members or just trying it on. I wreckon your bloke thought he was still a member and was being billed each month :-)
Either way its a sales opportunity thats for sure :)
What trial.. It's $5 more for 30 days no re-bill than for 30 days re-billing :) Since the site was launched on 13 Sep last year, only 3 credits have been charged, whether chargeback or refund which is good going as far as I'm concerned ...
I know guys who only have 90 days no re-bill on their sites and they make a lot of $$$$. This way the surfer can't forget to cancel and then ask for a credit or chargeback.. I can say that this works very well for me.

I had to reply laughing that he was trying to use the wrong info... DUH
We had a bloke today who has just moved house and doesn't have broadband anymore. He's said how much he has enjoyed the site and now he wants a refund.
How do I politely start a mail with "Dear Tosser...."?

Tell him youll stick his dick in a vice  Or was it the sort of site that he might enjoy that?
people still haven't got it in their heads that they are paying for a service (access), not an actual good (pics).
