Its now so common for an mp to screw up, its almost not news worthy.

Its only the 8th of Jan, and we have had the ex school minister pop her son in private education (and lets face it she nkows how bad state schools are), one mp insults a major plane firm, and the priminister is hiding so he cannot coment on the hanging.

Over a year this would be bad enough, but we are only day 8 into the year.

So she can afford to send her son to private school, so fucking what.

All her other children are in normal schools just this one who is a "special needs" child.

She was also the one telling the world how great the state system is when she was schools minister. Only not quite good enough for her kids.

More labour shite. Do as we say, not as we do.

I bet they would if they could afford it. She can afford it so why should not give the best she can to her child.

I actually can't stand her but what she has done is nothing more than anyone would if they could afford to.

The pont is, is that the child is reported to have dyslexia and she has paid for a decent school.

I and many others have dyslexia, yet we get to stay in normall schools. In my case often sat at the back with just a few puzzels to play with as there was nothing else for me. Yet out of my class I am the only one to have gone to uni and got a degree.

I am not sure what is worse, simply that she is a Labour mP, or the fact that she was in charge of education.

It simply shows that these MP's have very good wages, yet do nothing for it. I supose if tshe had no been pointless as education mp then mabe it would not be so bad.

I guess what the bigestr shock to me is, is that I presumed she was a lesbian. I mean she is one of the most butch women I have ever seen.

The difference being is that Labour are suposed to be in charhe of improving education. More so she was in charge of it, so what state it is in is down to her.

Basicly she messes up education. She gets very well paid to mess it up. She gets paid by the public. She then puts her kids into private school.

Its a bit different to say if you did it. I mean the public have not paid your wage (via tax).

To me the message she has put out is, public schools are crap, put your kids in private.

If more parents took responsibility for their childrens' education and quit expecting the nanny gov't to do it for them, no one would have to care about what one woman does with her child.

It's her child. She can send him to school wherever she wants to. When you decide to marry her and have children with her, you can choose where her children go to school.

The problem isn't with the "labour" people, or this party or that party... the problem is with institutionalized schooling and how it's dumbed down our children - and the parents' apparent apathy about that.

I don't think Ruth Kelly is being hypocritical at the moment, but if she was to come out and say that the government's policy on special needs education was wonderful right now, she would definitely be open to the hypocrisy charge.

As it is, she's just had a hard lesson in how the policies of the government - for which she is partly responsible - are crap.

Well it was just 24 hours and now its the home secutery who has messed up. Looks like there could be loads of pedo's now teaching children as they were never added to the uk records.

Wonder what wednesdays labour desaster will be.
