Since I'm not one for sparkling hot wit, I just can't get random girls off the street to sit in front of my camera like DVT.I'm sure many of you here have had the same problem and had to resort to modelling agencies sites to find your talent.So I was wondering if you had any recommendations favourite sites that you use.Let me know.

I used to use Walpole ages back but these days I have just over time built up contacts etc.

You could always use a small ad in a local paper - I have found a few that way but its hard work to interview them and see what they are like and you get a lot of complete fantasy artists and timewasters - you can also find newbies though who are fabulous but its like panning for gold - for every nugget you get a lot of mud and some skinned knuckles.

I go through phases of thinking its just not worth the effort in the UK when its so easy to fly to CZ and shoot girls you can only dream of finding in the UK.

In general UK agencies are worse than us producers at finding new talent. It seems to be where the girls end up rather than where they start off. And with virtually no lower limit on the looks of the girls they'll take its hardly any wonder that good girls so rarely want to sign up with them. Would you? If the UK had one agent on a par with the ones in CZ, we'd be sorted for sure. Finding new talent is hard and sorting through all the unsuitable apps for the very rare good ones isn't fun, but thats why we have agents in the first place.

Getting ads in to newspapers in the UK is a nitemare - or at least it was as I haven't tried much for ages. Papers seem very happy to have escorts and phone sex chatlines but not ads from photographers or agents. last weeks experience of being told I couldn't specify "no implants" being pretty typical of the cobblers that the NVQ amateur lawyers that work for the papers quote at me. The worst is when I can advertise for models but not say its nude. We then get loads of calls from the wrong people, all pissed off that they've been duped while the ones who would do it, just don't call.

All of the shooters in the UK know there's no shortage of girls here willing to do the work, its just so hard to advertise in the places they might read. I for one have never been that happy or any good at just carding girls in the street, despite being nearly as good looking as DVT.
