A dog is tied to a 10 ft. rope. There is a water bowl 20 ft. away from him yet the dog is able to drink from the bowl.

How is this possible?

Cos the dog is tied to 10 foot of rope that is 8 feet from the pool

The dog is tied to the rope, but the rope isn't tied to anything else. As well as what redwhiteandblue said :D

he was just only tied to a rope, and the rope was not tied to anything.
the dog can move freely and can get closer to the bowl.
