Im wondering becuase Im paying checks in tommorow and was wondering the value

If you've any baby checks, under £50.00, put them in seperately, 'cause under £50.00 there's no charge, over the £50 and the more ( amount wise ) you put in the more you pay :(

I use citibank, a $ account and a £ account. Pay the cheques into the $ account, and then transfer accross to the £ account when the rate suits, or I need the money :) Transactions are online and you can see the actual rate before you confirm the transfer.

The only downside is that it takes 3-4 weeks for the cheques to clear.
