Is anyone here using email encryption? Im looking for a solution to encrypt emails sent to specific email address (these contain confidential accounts data etc) - I have looked around and found a product called PGP and it seems to be what I want but Im not sure!

Initially it will just be for between me and my accountant but it may be used for other contacts also - do I need to provide a licence for every person I want to communicate securely with? There seems to be a professional version which covers up to 25 users, is this the one I need? My accountant is totally IT illiterate so something thats easy for him to set up and use would be ideal :)

Any help greatly appreciated!

PGP has been around for years but it never really caught on. If its just for your accountant just upload the into to your server and let him FTP it at his end?

You have no idea how long it took me to get him into the thinking of using email for communication - FTP is an alien language to him!

I can't claim genius status, but I found PGP pretty simple to use, just couldn't find a use for it :(

This is the perfect time to start using encrypted emails too :takethat:
