Is it dark. I thought with JD it would be dark like edward siser hands. Gene Wilder has said the film sucks (which is a shame).

I thought it could have been darker, they really needed to set it apart from Gene Wilders version.

I really dont tyhink it was anywhere near as good. But still woth seeing

I wonder if Roald Dahl had actually sprinkled some cocaine on his wife's ring piece and as he was about to snort, it popped in his head, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" then in the morning he wrote about it. it would make sense that some drugs were involved cos it's a bit out there. Although most of his stuff is.

I know someone whos last cinema film was "Over The Top" with Sylvester Stallone. I can see why he never went to the cinema again.
