I'm afraid of heights in a big way, and I took the jump and jumped out of a plane :)

One of the most liberating things you can do, and its not really until you are close to the ground that your fear of heights kicks in. Its good to face your fears once in a while and get out of your comfort zone.

Not sure I would do it again, but nothing can describe the sensation. Everyone has to do it once in their lives :)
