I think its the scans to be honest.

I get a lab to do them, but I find that they seem to just use 1 setting. And different slide films scan a bit different.

If I do it, I can get them looking much better. But it does take time.

I could probably improve things in an art package, but it takes time and I have a lot on at the moment.

Scans could be slide or film - But these pics look like the wb is way out of sorts - Looks like a digital to me

I like film.

That said the quality of pro digital is so good and the cameras are so cheap, I may get one.

I do use a little digital, and the quality of that is decent.

But I would always shoot a roll of film as backup (in case the digital camera did not work - or more likly I forgort to charge it).

The pics were on ISO50 slide film.

I use Jessops to scan. They are cheap but I find they scan the slide film wrong.

I suspect they just use one setting. And as someone said the WB is wrong on the scanner.

I fine that they scan my iso200 speed film the best.

But as I say, digital cameras are a decent price to get a pro one.

Looks like shutter speed was too slow on the first one. Kinda blurry - like some of our early stuff lol

Second one is obviously better but looks really flat - do yourself & the girl a favour & give her some Photoshop treatment...

you are right. i am going to get photoshop soon. at the moment i am thinking of getting an apple mac to do the pics on.
