There's always a kid born at Xmas in Corronation Street from what I remember. They must have a hell of a lot of birthdays this time of year. Is that the big story?

Used to watch it. I gave up after that bloke Richard tried killing Gale and the kids first with car exhaust and then by driving them into a canal. Richard had bumped off at least two people that I can recall and really after that the goings on of Norris and the corner shop all seemed a bit flat.

The best thing about this thread is that people are actually owning up to watching it!!

it was odd

they said they were to axe it, then it just kept being shown.

i still do not get why it was exed as i could have seen it doing well. it was good show.

i went to liverpool to see where they filmed it. its in a realy horrid estate. but they have this single street that is cut off.

They axed Dr Who then brought it back a few times - now it's bigger than ever! Maybe Brookside will be back one day with Jimmy Corkhill played by a bloke who looks a bit like Tom Cruise...

A poll said David Tennent was the best Dr Who ever - only because they polled a load of kids who've never seen Tom Baker :)

Tom Baker is the Dr.

Lets face it, kids these days are basicly stupid.

The education system has failed them.

NuLabor answer, "pump a bit more money in now and then and have some initiatives".

Real answer: Bring some discipline into schools so they can learn in peace. The cane would work.

Anyone who opposes that solution should come up with a better one. Smaller class sizes, paying teachers more, more computers, government targets, a funny alphabet, dumbing down exams, continious asessment( parents do your homework for you ) , etc. We tried all them, and they don't work.
