You just cannot beat pot noodle.
People insult it, but its yummy.
I can now settle down to question time with a happy tum full of pot noodle.
If everyone ate pot noodle there would be world peace.

Pot noodles turned shit when they made them all only 5% fat - they now taste like cardboard with tomato or soy sauce thrown in for good measure depending on what flavour you get...

Bastard!
I miss those like anything. Have a new shipment hopefully arriving Monday - I was told my favourite "spicy curry" is no longer available.... is that right?
And how is Big Dave?

I watched question time, and it was rubbish. It was from northern ireland, and I couldn't understand most of what they said cos they mumbled in an irish accent. They spent a lot of the time having a go at one another and not addressing the questions. I'm astounded that anyonethings that Iraq can be "sorted out" and ruled by a "democratic government" when it took the last 40 years to get to here from the troubles of the 60s, and I still don't feel so optimistic it will be "sorted out" in Ireland, let alone in the Middle East.
"Any Questions" in radio 4 is a lot better than the telly version, plus to listen to the wireless, you don't even need a licence!

You can still get 'original curry'. I will send you some pots if you want.

I don't think I've ever eaten 4 in my life... I think I've only ever had one... and that was a Freebie in a "Freshers" pack when I started Uni...
... bugger... just realised I started Uni in 1991... that's 15 years ago... how time flies!

I intend to buy a pot noodle tonight, just to see if it's as bad as I remember. I've not eaten one for years, and I do remember they tasted horrible.
I'll also buy a tin of corned beef, to take the taste away if the pot noodle turns out as expected.

I'll get a curry one if the co-op have any. It's quite a big shop, but they usually don't have a lot of food in it. They have been out of tuna in oil for over a week. They never sell pizza with meat on em, the woman told me "they won't send us any". Honestly sometimes it's like living in Poland in the 60s.

Yes, they did have the "traditional curry" as well as the "bombay bad boy" or something. I had the traditional curry, and it was not as bad as I thought it would be, but it did seem a bit dry. I wonder if they went in for all this "reduced fat" rubbish. I almost bought some chicken, but when I saw it had no skin on it, I left it and bought some fatty pork instead.
I've no idea where this "don't eat fat" nonsense crept up on us from.

I chose a Chilean cabernet merlot (co-op own brand) to accompany my pot noodle. Very fruity and pleasant at £3-99 a bottle. I always go for the screw cap bottle, which cuts down the choice, but I find the rubber corks far to hard to pull out, and the traditional cork can be a risk with cheap wine.
Good value for money.
Many years ago I watched some friends piss in a pot noodle and gave it to someone to eat and they didn't even notice. Must be an aquired taste.

You'd only need one "friend" to piss in your pot noodle, as the fill line is pretty low, so they either had small bladders or it was a big pot noodle.
I've never knowingly drunk piss, but a boy at school did once and said it tasted like salt. Since most modern junk food is full of salt, I'd say that's the reason noone would notice.
Did they warm the piss up? Those noodles are quite hard and I'd think the piss would need to be near boiling point to soften them.

Cheers for the offer! Thing is the regular post is shit (only 25% of stuff arrives) and food stuffs aren't officially allowed to be brought in. You'd have to DHL it which would be stupidly expensive and then maybe it wouldn't get through anyway.
I have a shipment arriving Monday though :). My Mum is coming over for two weeks and she's got me a couple. She's scared to death though of getting stopped on the way in, she's actually emptied it out of the container and put it in a plastic bag for me WTF!
Seriously, eating pot noodles is very sad.
Dried chemicals in a plastic tub :(

I eat a Pot Noodle approximately once every 6 months - it takes me that long to forget how bad the last one was. It's an ironic pleasure.
