View Full Version : Discovery to launch today
The Shuttle is scheduled to lift off at 3.39pm this afternoon.
Those of you with access to Sky News Active (press the red button) can see a live feed of NASA TV showing all the pre-flight stuff. Right now they're strapping astronauts in. The flight deck looks tiny...

Quoted from the simpsons ( where Homer goes into space, as they lift off):
Bart: Go, Dad, go!
Lisa: "How doth the hero strong and brave,
A celestial path in the heavens pave."
Everyone: Huh?
Lisa: [quiet] Go, Dad, go.
