How do you see things going.
Over the last 10 years, Net porn has gone from some basic looking sites to realy fancy stuff.
But we have seen laws change in the USA (as in paperwork on ID) as well as the UK (such as now its an offence to shoot porn outside).
So how do you think things will change?
Will they relax the rules on R18 porn or will the UK or even USA bring in stronger laws?
If they do, what will you do?
If they do, what will you do?
Retire. :cheers2:

will probably be a george orwell "1984" future and viewing porn will merit a death sentence so it will go underground...view at your own risk if you value yor life!

It's very unlikley the internet will be around in 10 years time, or even 5.
It was only developed as a prototype, but it took off and people used it.
I'd expect to see new interfaces, new protocols, new delivery of content and interaction within the next few years. The old traditional website will look pretty lame. Of course this is an opportunity for everyone to get creative, some will adapt, some will not. That's life.
been in the biz since 95 and seen a fair bit change.
here's where I see it, more video and I mean a lot more. and as wankmaster says more interaction, that's going to be the mover.

What makes you say that?

Can't see how laws in the UK/US will change NetPorn a lot. It will mean those not covered by their laws will make more money. People living in those countries will still view it even if they do not have it from UK?US sites.
I see the Adult Net being taken over more and more by the big porn guns. Companies like Evil Angel are taking experienced and talented people on board to run their sites. Will be an interesting time for sure.

What makes you say that?
The Internet has been around for over 30 years, technology moves on. I think it will evolve and eventually be replaced to take advantage of new stuff. There's lots of talk of merging TV, computers, radio, DVDs into one big "thing", you could call it the Information Superhighway ( remember that? ).
It may well be marketed as "Internet 2", or "Web 2", or maybe something else, but I've a feeling it will look and act differently to the transaction based web we see today, static web pages, a bit of PHP and Javascript. The whole thing really is cobbled together behind the scenes when you look, which isn't to say that wasn't a "good idea" at the time, but the next generation of the net will need something a bit more robust.
Who knows, anyway, just my opinion.
