View Full Version : Getting out of a sales slump
This month on my program will probably be the best month Ive had in sales. But last week was pooh.
It carries on untill the end of the month it will still be a good month, but not a great month as I expected.
What do you guys do when your in a bit of a slump? Or am I being greedy and should I be happy with a good month all round

yea you greedy fucker........ :)
July has so far been the best month of the year for me usually when its good it makes me work harder.
I think if you are doing well in July/Aug if its your best ever month you are doing something right as these are usually my worst months of the year. So I would be happy.
I'd be happy with a good month all round
Having said that I suppose that is not the way to grow.

Its the time of year.
People are going away on holidays, or its nice out and too hot to sit in front on the old pc.
I think bad sales are the best time as they push you to do more to get more sales. Otherwise you become a bit lazy and let things slip.

Employ a few bods from the cheap continent - Costs about 100$ per person a month -
Fuck fuck fuck fuck.
I just noticed my ad server was fucked. No wonder my sales where down. any time anyone clicked a banner all they got was a PHP error
I knew something was wrong as traffic is way up, sales have been rocking all month. Then suddenly zip.
Fuck what a cunt

I think the summer slowdown is a myth created by sponsors so they can shave more lol
No decrease here.

Summer slowdown is as you say either an opportunity to shave or just a myth for those doing under 75 or 100 sales a day anyway and then possibly more likely to see swings in their numbers.
I had my best week ever last week :D

99.9% webmasters do well under 75 sales a day

Very true and I think this is one reason why there are countless threads everywhere on shaving, scrubbing, summer slowdown, etc.

I agree - When people complain that they are 50% down and there must be some shit going on - My first thought are always 5 from 10 = 50% ! If you are doing decent sales, then - + 5 makes no difference.
