Simply pull down your trousers and pants, insert the Credit card in the crack of your arse and swipe.
Your CC statement will now show that you are an arsehole :takethat:
Very clever small-dik!
NOW JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! :rambo:

You should in the first instance talk to the supplier of the goods, explaining you are not happy, the first thing you bank will need to see is that you have given the vendor every opporutnity to refund the payment.
If this fails you then can contact your bank, normally you receive a form that you must detail your dispute and sign it to confirm this is the truth.
Depending on the bank they may either a) pay you instantly once they have the information from you b) Hold the funds until they have investigated it further.
I don't think you stand much hope on cancelling a payment if you 'just don't like it' you need a reason ie you were sold something that was nothing like you were told.
Oh well thats 60 quid down the drain :takethat:

what was the software - some one here may buy the licence off you for a discounted rate - or sell it on ebay ;-)

I found it a real pain did my first charge back in 9 years of buying on the net.
Bought a piece of software for $350 that was never delivered contacted the company numerous times after 3 weeks of waiting and numerous emails i decided to charge back. I thought it would be a doddle after how easy they let porn surfers charge back.
You have to fill in a form stating why you want to charge back they then send it too company and I believe they have 60 days to respond if they dont you get the charge back.
The company I was charging back had the nerve to say I had downloaded it. Luckily I had saved the one and only email they ever sent that said they would send the software via cd and that was dated after the date i had supposedly downloaded the software. Fucking scammers :onguard: this is the company http://fybersoft.com/
So i would say it not going to be too easy charging back if you just dont like the software

If it was me, I would write (rather than email) and say that the product that your bought did not function as you would have expected it to. Due to this you are unable to use it.
As such you request that you would have the money returned to you.
Keep a copy of the letter, and if you do not hear anything after two weeks write to your credit card firm. But keep writing. If you show your the type of person who kicks up a fuss, they will cave in. After all for $100 (£60) its not worth there hassle.
I do this all the time. Often people think I go over the top, but I find a bit of effort does pay off.
Legally I think they may not need to pay you, unless you can prove that they said the software would do something it did not, or it fails to work (such as it crashes all the time).
But out of customer care they may pay up. If its a USA firm often they have the best customer service so you may be ok.

For the hassle involved for such a small figure it is best to forget it - Unlikely the company will refund you because once you have a licence key, there is nothing to stop you re-selling it -
Try and find a buyer and cut your losses?
reselling, as it was suggested several times by now, might be disallowed by the EULA, read it carefully. sometimes personal details of the buyer are encoded in the keyword, which makes it next to impossible for someone else to use it, if you do not know what personal info.
the main question is, why buy a 100 buck software without trying it out first?

I just did a couple of chargebacks for online transactions, it was fairly painless it just took about 2 months before I saw the credit hit my account. All I had to do was fill out a form and state my reasons (which were perfectly valid).
cheers,
Luke
