I just got hit with a £40 charge - gas took the money out of the old account rather than the new one and I dont use the old one anymore, bank charged me fourty quid the cunts...

my sis has done it, claimed back £2,500 in charges, only took 4 weeks :)

haha I have been sitting here on all this crap old paperwork I need to keep for the tax and now I am glad because I have all my statements here :o)

I found over a grand of unpaid Direct Debit charges and I'm missing what I think it my worse year for bouncing those fuckers :o)))

For no more than £10 banks have to give you up to six years of statements. Whatever they try and say.

I did it a while ago.

Best thing to do is even if you think you have had no bank charges, write to them anyway.

I did. Got £60 back.

I am going to do it i would settle for half the money though. I don't like the way its a pain in the arse to transfer $'s to sterling

at any given time I have a 5 figure amount with the bank but they are fucking fining me basically because I can't get thru on their stupid phone system to move it to the right account

No thats also against the law i think, ask to talk to the manager! I did and got mine free.

No its not.

If its old ones say a few months ago they are intitled to charge (admin costs).

But if they are being good they will send you them free.

Just like if you loose your car insurance certificate they will charge for a copy.
