I did -
I had a site with 6 #1 positions and about 25 top 10 positions - Infact, well over a hundred top five page spots -

I gambled because of so many outside of front page shows - These are simply experienced surfers who click - open - close. Cant even trade the cunts.

But - I took a chance and changed every fucking thing.

I would launch a second site but incorporate the changes into the new site. My wife has a site similar with 4-5 first page key searches and I am scared to touch it as I did this with my own site a few weeks back and it crashed out of the rankings for a while

Yes - Not too much of a risk really - I have about 10 .....4u.com sites and all get good google traffic - But this one, I had it in my head I could make much bigger - And judging by the surge in google traffic about an hour ago - looks a good descision!

Spanno hit the nail on the head - Keep the old saved and if your efforts fail, throw the old back in - If it was good before, google will re-rank it in exactly the same way
