Thats why they say UPTO 8mbps

for not much more (£58.00 pm + VAT) you can get a network broadband from BT business that pretty much guarantees 8mbps for up to 20 PCs with unlimited download allowance... been running that here with 5/6 pcs or laptops and never misses a beat

our speed test is never lower than 7800 kbps

Welcome back xcite..... good holiday? Your site sorted now?

Back to the thread... I thought your broadband speed is still dependant on how far you are from the exchange, whether your a business or a private customer....

DV's speed pretty much mirrors my speeds, but i am 2 miles from the nearest exchange..

Great holiday thanks Sicily is amazing. driving in Palermo is scary buy fun ( a mix of Bombay, Naples and Monza) Site all ok thanks to someone sorting while i was away.

not sure how far from exchange we are and you could be right about little difference in speed from private of business. But BT business has little or no downtime as they have to guarantee a service and will compensate for any loss. and of course tailor a package to suit your needs :)
