I am looking into setting up a pay site, and would like some advice on 3rd party payment processors, hopefully some of you lot can help.

Is there any 3rd party payment processor who do not charge a set up fee?

How much help will they give you for getting the payment gateway up and running securely?

How would you go about setting up an affiliate scheme so as you can have other webmasters promote your content?

Any third party processors i should avoid? If so why?

Also how popular is billing by mobile phone and dilaer?

Any other helpful tips would be appreciated

cheers :bonk:

I was always paid on time by Merchant Boss I was using them to sell ebooks non adult. Did they not pay you? I was a wary of them so I stopped using them could never get any support but they always paid in the end. Not someone who I would recommend using though.

How long did you use them for?

I got a feeling something wasn't right with them and asked if I could meet them at thier office, of course they shit themselves and said no cos they are not based in the UK at all.

I signed up with them and all seemed fine, I tried a "Test" transaction and that E-mail, which I never used to get much mail to, now gets the shit spammed out of it every fucking day. Coincidence?

They were sponsors on Netpond and Oprano but for about 5 minutes, their ad campaigns were pulled by the boards, I wonder why?

I used them for about 6 months for selling non adult ebooks stopped using them when I got my own merchant. Could never get any proper support but they always paid i think i put about 7k through them. I heard a lot of mailers use them. They are not a company I would recomend anyone to use.
