What video cameras do you all use?

Just wondered if there is a standard of video camera you all use. We use Canon XM2's, reasonably good, but we may look to upgrade to HD next year.

Any suggestions anyone??

We are now on our second Sony HVR Z1E been using them since Jan 2005 and superb results in HD, DVCAM or DV

If you using Canon they have just brought out an HD version of the XM looks good too

We are using 2 Sony HVR-Z1E's which are amazing cameras and we also have a little Sony HVR-A1E that we take with us for busy outdoor stuff.

I know its HD and its sony and thats about it. I dont even know how to switch the bloody thing on lol, me and faith were looking at it like muppets for 30 mins last time trying to turn it on, then when we did the battery was low and shed left the charger at her house! You have to consider the post production of HD as well as the camera so look at spending on a new editing station as well.
