all because the couple are religiose.

So religiose they split up and want somone to foster the kid.

who will want to foster a servily disabled child? it will end up being cared for in a hospital department at more costs. and i bet the parents will expect taxi fees to be paid to visit her.

As far as I know the millions spent on treatment is a moot point. There has never been any report that she needed rescusitation at any time in the past.

The whole court case was about doctors not wanting to rescusitate her if nature took it's course. As nature didn't take the course they expected treatment would have always continued, and cost the same even if the parents had agreed to a DNR.
