Jails are now full and basicly in a mess.

To be honest it you tried to mess up as much as this goverment has, I am not sure you could do much worse.

But do not panic, they are planning on having a debate, so its all sorted then.

Yeh I still dont think they will get in, I still think people are more likely to stick with what they know.

Then they're all centre ground parties there isnt a huge difference anymore...same old shit so why bother voting anymore!

Try putting Maggie and Major back in again if you want to see worse!! Interest rates at what were they 15%+?? Under this government I have progressed more than in any previous but I do agree with the last comment. They are all as bad as one another.

Plough money into the NHS - So that immigrants can fleece it
Plough money into single parents - So the council estate girls can get a cheap home
Plough money into the police - make a shit load of arrests but red tape and crap laws mean they walk free to commit crime again
Tax Car Users and big fines for fly tipping but let Gypsies get away with it.

What is the point in voting I agree

They will lose and then William Hague will take the helm for a genuine push.

Wonder if they have done a deal and Cameron will get a cabinet position for being the fall guy?

Both I expect. He has a net worth of more than 100 million £ so he will always be every ones friend. :)

Hope so ... I like Hague. Great orator & jolly nice bloke.

Then I also liked Howard so what the fuck do I know.

Hague cannot succeed due to being bald. The other one, Duncan Smith, he was bald, and he failed. And remember Kinnock, bald as a coot.

The fact is that the public of today demands a good head of hair in a leader. Remember Mrs Thatcher? Exactly.

i've always wondered, how did we end up with a left and a right? i mean, how did they decide that torys would be on the right and labour would be on the left?

Goes back to the French revolution.

Great, that means more imigrants, more positive discrimination, more taxes on business & commerce and basically us honest hard working people getting fucked over for another 4 years. :banghead:

When Michael Foot's glasses steamed up for the last time and they realised that they had really picked some old flasher from the back of the hall to sit at the main table the left finally died.

Yes, for the first time in history our left wing party is more right wing than our right wing party.

Does make it a little confusing

To be fair to the little communist, he was leader of the opposition when the Prime Minister was the greatest (never defeated in an election) Prime Minister we ever had. :cheers2:

Arthur Scargill and Michael Foot trying to outwit Margaret Thatcher. The golden years of British politics filled with real characters and fabulous entertainment. Where did those good years go? :)

The British public decided that looking good is more important than what you stand for :(
