I am now mobile.

I got a T-Mobile MDAIII.

Its got wi fi and Bluetooth, and will do blackberry.

I am thinking of adding blackberry to it. Its £10 a month, and its just for emails. Not sure if its worth getting as I will use my pc for 99% of emails anyway. Plus I was told if I got it, I would have to have it for 12 months.

Rather than bothering with wifi at home, I got a Bluetooth 100m dongle. £10. Yu have to play about with it as the drivers crash with the ones on xp sp2. But its now sorted.

I now have to work out how to get the active sync to work with the Bluetooth, which it says it will.

I am going to test the wi fi out today if I can find a free open access wi fi spot.

The T-Mobile MDAIII pda seems cool. Its windows portable 2003 based. I find it crashes more than my palm pda.

They say a moving targets harder to hit :duck:

Seriously though, what's the security like on that setup? Is it safe from anyone trying to evesdrop?

My wireless lan for example is locked down by specific MAC address's and the data is encrypted.

Do you get the same kind of stuff with that?
