The Future's Bright, The Future's...... ?

Like most folk I'm constantly racking my brains for something new to push & trying to anticipate the next big thing, so far I've drawn a bit of blank.

A while back it looked like the whole mobile phone area could take off & be a bit of a winner, now Im not too sure given delivery problems, adult content lock etc,etc, not to mention questioning whether people really wanna look at stuff on mostly tiny screens.

When you narrow it down there's only a few areas that most of us operate in, "Pay Sites" , "V.O.D." "Cams" & of course "Chat Lines" :thumbsup:

Aaaanyway, any thoughts on what's comming next & could be big ?

everyone is saying vod, and should well be once speeds are quick as explorer.exe but who knows. Live cams are kinda saturated.

The best way to make money in this business is *really* get to know a good product (new or old) and then *really* learn how to sell it well.

The next new thing will come along soon enough when you are not looking and then all you have to be is ready to jump on it. Might as well make money while you are waiting. :)

I hear exactly what you're saying SGS & Xcite about concentrating on the here & now, something which I'm very much doing & still enjoy, finding new approaches to increasing clients as well as increasing sales etc.

It would be good though to get me teeth stuck into something new, a slow burner, something that I could research, sound out, so when it looks like the time might be right then at least I might be one step ahead :)

the first time i saw VOD i thought the game was over for paysites tbh
although imo most surfers want a download & keep VOD system rather than PPV

"whole members area" surfer filesharing is growing out of control too,
surfers are getting wise and teaming up on private forums to swap content
some p2p theft can work for us as viral marketing, but many are ripping full sites.

internet access is still rising and connection speeds increasing around the world
there's thousands of new mugs connecting each day, first thing many will
do is search for porn . . need to get their $ before they realise paying for porn is daft.

given 2257, i would guess that the future outside US could be the 'extreme' dollar
