I bought it about 3 years ago when my I was doing a lot of stuff with Television X, because I had a few different ideas for how I planned to delvelop it...
But, as is often the way... I never did...
I now reside in the USA and the last thing on my mind for ages, was television X
then i noticed that it was up for renewal.. so i thought...
Wonder if I can sell it instead ?
Anyone interested ? Make me an offer

offers can be posted here on sent to TGITC (AT) TGITC.com

Thanks :)

I think it could have possible legal problems, as it contains TVX which I suspect is a copyrighted brand name.

Quite possibly... Never really thought of it like that...
I would have thought though, that if it were to lead to a collection of girls pics,
and they had all been on TVX, then well...

Might even be fun to try it out and take them on ?
If I was still in the the UK then I might have done that,
but Im not, so I wont...
Bigger fish to fry stateside !
I've allready had a run in with Fritios/Lays/Pepsicola of America,
but it never came to much...
(Long story) but in truth, I really wanted them to follow up and prosecute me, but no such luck as yet...

Oh, and just to clarify, I'm NOT looking for some astronomical dissproprtionate amount of $$$ for it... Just a fair offer...
thats all :)

The problem is, is that you would be trading on there name.

Not only that, they could state that your site is damaging the reputation of TVX.

You may as well set up sites called MicrosoftBabes.com, PepsiBabes.com, AsdaBabes.com and so on.

Ermmm No. Not the same thing at all really is it ? I mean if I had a site called PepsiBabes.com it would be difficult / impossible to fill it with girls who had appeared nude in Pepsi commercials... because, as far as I'm aware... they don't do that... like wise, if I were to do 'asda' and I filled a site up with girls pics saying that they all worked at asda, I'd be lieing and asda could call deflamination of their name... but a group of girls who had all appeared on tvx, under the name tvxgirls... well, it may still be infringement in the strictest sense of the term... but,
at least it would be relatively accurate. Unlike your examples

Sorry, I meant by my examples that you are using company brand names.

I think the best thing would be if TVX gave you permission to set up a site as it could also promote them.

If you bothered to read the thread, you may have noticed he wants to sell the domain

I know that.

When I said 'you' I meant whoever owns or will own the domain, rather than him.

It was a 'you' in general. Maby I should have used one, instead, as in one should contact tvx.

Slight threadjack ... but anyone noticed any .co.uk's going for decent amounts lately? I've one or two I might put up for sale, but not if I'd only be looking at getting like 1/20th of the .com equivalent ... :ninja:
