Exactly ... its a load of bollocks ... and 5 years for stopping to help, makes you think should i stop in the future for anything ???
its just plain sick mate
this is a piss take, innit? i cannot for my life imagine that this would stand any revision, assuming the story happened as it's being told. has this been taken to the next instance?
i mean racing another car, WTF? has anyone forced the Fiesta driver not to brake and just let the Nissan pass and "win"? if so, that force must have come from within the car.
as i stated in the model release thread, being right is one thing, getting it acknowledged a whole different story.
Well at least the advertising on that page has a good chance of making a few bob.
I do not for one minute believe that Stephen got 5 years and a 3 year ban for just stopping and trying to help.
How much over the drink drive limit was he?
What were the charges against him?
I may be wrong but it sounds like death by reckless driving while under the influence.
If he got what he got for merely stopping to help then I'm sure we would have heard about this before now.

First of all, this wasnt done for any reason to do with spamming. Ok that is what he got , id swear on anything thats important to me, stone cold sober, the offence that Steve has been convicted of is now known as "causing death by dangerous driving" until not so long ago this was better known as "causing death by reckless driving". He was speeding and he admits it, but where the fiesta left the road is a local blackspot with the coucil re laying the road there repeatedly ( a 70 mph dual carriageway that has several dips, like reverse speed bumps if you will, but bigger) has was video'd leaving the local show off area ( near a mcdonalds .. they always are !! ) and had several witnesses stating that he was following the fiesta at speed , but not tailgating .. their words. He saw the accident as he was stil following and helped the survivor out of the broken fiesta, called the emergency services and stayed until they arrived, not the actions of a guilty man really.
Still, believe what you will and if nothing else, thanks for the bump.
No hard feelings either way. I dont want to make any enemies on here ... ok ??? :ninja: :onguard: .... but im not going this far ... :bonk: or :erk: .... :takethat:

No problem, here's another one :)
That sounds fucked up. Was there drink involved? Either way the fiesta driver needs ti take some responsability. He died, but he was driving the car
Why if he only stopped to help would he then plead guilty to get a lesser sentence?
If I haven't done anything there's no way on earth I'm plea bargaining my way out of it..

No drink or drugs, just a bit of testostarone really ... and too true
Why if he only stopped to help would he then plead guilty to get a lesser sentence?
