TGP auto-submitters

Anyone use chameleon submitter? I used to use it about 18 months ago & found it OK - anyone know if its still worth using now?

Im not after mass traffic, but would like to get listed on a bunch of small tgps with minimum hassle ... any decent cheap alternatives anyone can suggest?

I use both chameleon and advanced submitter. I prefer chameleon its very easy to use never had any problems with it.

Usually takes about 60mins to do a manual and auto submit. The database is really easy to change as well to add in partner accounts. It doesnt bring mass traffic but it's steady.

Still worth using for the minimal cost.

I use to use TGP wizard but stopped, now I just submit to a handfull of TGPs

we do Gallery Submitter, although i learnt last night that one TGP which is always reported as successful submit didn't get any submissions ever. we aren't blacklisted there or anything, but there wasn't a single gallery in the DB there.

Is Gallery Submitter the one that requires you to come up a customised database ... or does it have a shitload of tgp's already configured? Never tried it, but have heard good stuff about it ... lot of people seem to use Chameleon + GS for some reason ...

I think its dream submitter where you have to configure your own database, gallery submitter the database is already set up.

seriously though, currently it comes with some 1300+ TGPs/MGPs listed, we use the server based version, there is also a desktop one like Chameleon for example is.
the really big plus of GS is the scheduler. we do a mass gallery building session once a month and put them into GS so we can forget about it for another 4 weeks. it will do your submissions automatically. which comes in handy when you are away for some time, there's always a constant stream of submissions.

right, comes up GS must have submitted fine anyway, as testing submitting manually brought up the same problem with missing galleries.

been using chameleon for over 18 months, great tool as long as you make sure its configured right and you tweak your db a bit.

easily makes me my money back

If Chameleon had a schedule feature it would prbably be the best submitter out there.

Gallerysubmitter is great because like -HF said you set it up and forget it, it will submit on the days and times you have specified. The bit -HF forgot to mention is that it will automatically confirm all the E-mails as well.

You can use the free version but you have to use GS's sponsors, if you already use the sponsors or the list, if not sign up for a few and use the free version.

If you want to use your own sponsors or even like to add your own button then you will need the paid version, it's $35 per month.

i'm sorting it out with the owner at the moment, but it def hasn't anything to do with GallerySubmitter, as all my manual submits face the same problem.

Signed up under you HF...just wondered did you have any problems getting the software to conect to your cgi-bin? having my host look at the moment but wondered if you came across any problems?

only problem as such was when at first we tried running it from a virtual server without the Perl modules installed. moved it to dedicated with Perl and it worked just fine.

You're logins are totally wrong.
You can't just setup a new user on your server and expect that user to be able to access other user folders on your server.
Which is why it doesn't work. The user account you setup cannot do anything on your server. It's a common mistake. Setup a proper user or use the user you normally do.

I was using my origanal login and that would'nt work that's why i set up a new ftp user for that domain
