Madness in London this morning

Was jogging through hyde park a couple hours ago and started noticing everyone on thier cell phones...some running...asked a cop what was going on.
Looks like 7 bombings now...3 block radius around the american embassy is all guys with machine guns and barricades. took an hour to get back here

Very eventful week to be in london. Live8, gay pride rally, olympics, bombings...only been here a week and every day it's something that causes it to take an hour to cross the street

We're in mayfair...about 1/4 mile from the american embassy..was out and about this morning and it was just nutty

I remember when i was in london a year or 2 ago and there were police men with machine guns around the american embassy then as well. it was all blocked off and we had to walk a long way around

The Embassy has been blocked off like that since 9/11 but before then it was very open. I have to go there soon..not looking forward to it because it is just a sad reminder to me these days.
