how much of your traffic is paid traffic?

still in a catch 22 situation, cannot afford to buy traffic yet so relying on trade links and engines but still only get a laughable amount of traffic! would love to be afford traffic on a monthly basis but still playing catch up from ankle injury earlier this year!

You should only ever buy traffic to boost trades. But if you get your trades right, you wouldnt ever need to even boost trades.


If you have a site that has 120% productivity, it will grow every day by 20%

Day one: 100 visitors
Day two: 120 visitors
Day three: 144 visitors
Day four: 172 visitors
Day five: 207 visitors
Day six 248 visitors
Day seven: 298 visitors

Trade with sites who return good productive traffic and your sites will grow, boost with bought traffic when you want to feed new trades etc

thats the point though, mine dont seem to grow, just stays around same figure every day apart from the odd surge! using a trade link script and hard links on main tgp but just hard links on my blogs...and the other thing is i cant trade with sites that ask for minimum amount each day cos i just dont have that kind of traffic! so again catch 22 situation

Build, build, build. Find out who sends traffic and build and learn and addapt your new sites.

Build a network of sites. Then when you open a new site you already have 100 sites of your own to chose from to trade with, plus you know a ton of other toplists and sites that will make yours sites grow.

ok...well im in the process of changing the look of my tgp but every niche page looks the same,using comus thumbs script, maybe I should make each one have different themes? I was going for branding rather then making a indivdual page look different...heres the site going to change the logo header and font for the links

I think comus is great. In my opinion, the best thumb script out there.

I wouldnt worry as much about branding, as I would about productivity.....make every change you can to get the thumbs clicked.........If you have one site, catagorise the pages and concentrate on the trades for each page

I personally would trade each catagory, with niche sites. So on my cumshot page, I would only trade with cumshot sites. That will increase your productivity and the productivity that you send with others.

It will take much longer and maybe work on one catagory at a time.

also submit galleries and create traffic traps to feed the site with traffic

Trail and error that tho, once you find say 20 sites which can send you traffic back you're sorted. I have this problem with my blog at the moment its finding sites that can send me 500/600 hits a day back :banghead:

I don't use any bought traffic - just send some 404 when starting a new site - and start some small trades.

If your sending back more to trades than they send you your site will grow. This one is growing all the time and doesn't look like stopping :-)

The key is to get a high enough prod so that you can send lots of people off to trades - intern you get more and more back and it snowballs :)


Can i suggest on Musky Porn - make the header WAY smaller - at the end of the day it distracts from the thumbs - which is what you want people to click. The more focus on your thumbs the better.

yeah im working on a new logo bradder it will be a standard 468 x 70 banner size

also if you look between each block of thumbs..ie hall of fame,todays latest ect i have a menu of my other catergories...this is repeated 4 times on each page! guess i only need it to be the page once and put it at the bottom or the side?

That niche is a piece of piss. ;)

Stockings/uniforms is a little harder but i can normally get them at around 300-350%. I disagree with you about comus. If all you want is prod - i would go with smartthumbs. Its not as flexible as comus tho. And isn't great for gathering bookmarkers as its harder to do a daily update type setup.
