Well I am back and tied out.
I got to Drax at 6am.
Full of police checking out cars.
I got a real prick. He told me that if I took any pics I would be nicked. Then he set me up with some bull. I will not go into it as they are invesigating this.
Basicly one minite I am having a nice time, next out comes the hadcuffs.
Me and the dog in the nick at 6.30. The dog outside in the kennals.
Did not get interviewd till 11am. So sat in a cell locked up for hours.
At interview get told what prick said (the ploceman who nicked me). He even sugested I refered to him as mate. I pointed out that I never use such a term.
So they are looking into this. Its more than lickly it will be droped. But at worst as its a first offence they say all I will get is a coution. So it seems a lot of faffy about just for a pointless coution.
As I say I will not go into any details as the police are looking into this berk.
Anyway, at 12 I get to leave.
To be fair the police at the station were nice, even checked on the dog.
I asked the top chap there what was the law on taking pics. He said that some temp thing had been set in place but even he was not sure what the rules were.
Anyway I get back to the car. I get my camera gear.
I walk up the road. There were about 50 people there. All very friendly. Some a bit loopy (even more than me). Many dressed up as clowns.
Police were in full.
But as ITV, Yorkshire and another tv station were filming, the police did not bother.
In fact one of the police had a tv camera.
At least I arived and got a few nice shots.
By 2, everybody just left.
I wish I had gone to the camp site as I bet it would have been fun.
I may have even got on the news. I have the dog with me so not hard to spot, plus I am limping as my feet were killing.
I know some press shot me as I was sat on the road side with the dog. I pretended I did not see them, but I posed a bit.
I was going to try to get the car at the front gate so it would have been on tv, but that twat policman spoiled that for me.
IAs my car is still at drax I have to walk 7 miles back.

By the way, to be fair these guys are as green as you could get.
I do not think any came by car, many came in the most bizar bikes you have ever seen.
I'm glad I got the end. It would have been fun to have been there all day.
But I think many of them also were arrested.
And they all made a fuss over stinky (my pooch). So did the police.
To be fair miost of the police were decent too. Just one or two idiets in the police.

No IO was in black. Black Jeans and shirt. You never know I may be on the background on tv.
I tell you though, being in a cell drives you nuts.
You sit there and every 30 mins they see if you have tried to top yourself. You even have to leave your shoose outside.
I had to stay calm as you do not half start to feel angry being there. You just think these people have the right to put you in a cell and you cannot get out.
But when at the interview the policewaoman stated that I had said 'mate' to the policman, I was so shocked.
Anyway, at least I got to take some pics. So it made it worth while.

Its an interesting experience being in a cell. Its so dehumanising. You have no power.
You can see why some police adopt hatred to people, if they keep knicking people.
No doubt you are posting this on a computer powered by wind or some other eco friendly tree hugging fuel?
I bet they just wound you up till you said "fuck" or something then nicked you for section 5?
Its all shit all they want is to get you out of the area while its going on they might charge you and then drop it before it goes to court.
The daft thing was I set off at 2am and went to the wrong power station.

i wouldn't accept a caution if i were you.... its the Police's way of keeping tabs on you. A caution stays on your record forever.. make them charge you with something..If your proved innocent then you have NO police record
A caution is usually issued if they know they cannot make anything stick. but it give you a police record they can use against you later

Be warned though - if you are offered a cautio, turn it down and then go to court and are found guilty the courts usually look at your initial decision to refuse the caution as wasting their time as it never had to come to this and can come down harder on you as a result though how hard obviously depends on what you are charged with etc etc

your right.... but if they have something that they can make stick they will just charge you right away
A caution usually means they know they have little to make a conviction
even if they do a good barrister will get you off 80% of the time...so let them rant at you and stay shtum...always the best way

what happened to the dog while all this was going on??
what happened to the dog while all this was going on??
Which one? The place looked full of filthy tree hugging dogs when I saw it on the news.
If they press charges which I bet you they don't eventually you will go to magistrates court and you don't even get a record for breach of the peace, section 4 or section 5 and stuff like that. The worse that will happen is they will fine you £400 or something and maybe bind you over "to keep the peace" especially on a first offence. If its your word against some cop whos made up that you told him to "fuck off" the CPS will not be botherred so it will be dropped but they will probably only drop it like a week before a court date.
They send you a letter which is worded like "unforunately due to a lack of evidence we cannot prosecute you for the offence at the present time, but should further evidence arise we may consider prosecution". Of course it couldn't be possible they nicked you for fuck all and you are innocent!

what happened to the dog while all this was going on??
They put him in the dog cell.
He would not go in. They forced him.
This upset me the most that they upset him.
They said I had to accept.
But I shall seek advise on Friday.
You Had to accept?.......... Tell em where to get off.... and if they gotta case against you to prove it in court...........
I think cautions are used to bump up police figures and for them its an easy option as they just threaten court... rather than having to prove guilt.........
Plus as previously said, it means they can keep records on you........ which I suspect is what they really want! A police state cannot function effectively with out records on everyone...
They said I had to accept.
Never, ever take legal advice from the police!
Apart from having the most dangerous drivers on the road by far, they just can't help themselves from telling lies at every chance they get.
last time I was done for speeding the cop told me I "had" to say something in response to his caution - I did - "no comment" he was not happy and threatened all sorts of nasties when it came to court. NONE of which transpired on the day.
