1 year after the .info frenzy

did you get any of those free .info domains?

if so, will you renew any, or did you find they are still not developed cos it was quite silly to get 25 (or 50 or even 75 if you were really that greedy and went to all the registrars offering them) domains while you had other plans anyway?

we didn't even bother thinking about getting any, as it was rather obvious they'd be cheater's heaven. so instead i just blacklisted .info on most of our sites. drastic? prolly.

i read some folks got free .infos they didn't develop yet but plan on renewing them anyway. makes me wonder why they don't get a proper TLD instead. :D

I got a load of free ones, a few months ago I was keen on pumping out a new project so decided to use one of them. One out of 100 ain't so bad :)

I got a few and will be renewing the ones I am using.

One of my domains has done well for me, OK, it would dones just as well had it been any other TLD, but for a free domain name I have done very well with it.

I do find that a few places have blacklisted me and it can only be because they are .info's.

I vaguely recall something, but then again I might have dreamt it.

I would have liked another few dozen domains that I'd never get around to developing, but feel obliged to renew them :ninja:
