Im interested in having a chat about hosting. Im always trying to reduce my bill.

who spends what on what.

All my sponsors give me free hosting, so theres no problem there, but I of course have my own hosting and wonder that the deal Ive got compares to others.

I host with webair, this is this months bill

I have servers with phatservers.net they would save you a little on bandwidth, same bandwidth/server costs I think your bill would be $420.

Support is excellent you 24*7 they usually answer and sort any problem with 1 hour even first thing GMT. Never had any downtime.

I pay $1.49/per GB and thats it!!

No other fees.

You could definately get a better deal than that at a number of places :(

yes she deffinetly could if she is using more than a 100gig she could get a dedicated server with 1mbit included for $150 which she could push about 300gig...if I'm doing my sums right

Im not a big bandwith user. Its only about $90 a month maximum, normally $60 -$70 and yes support is top notch 24/7 quick response plus I went over to usa and met them all!

We would have paid over $80,000 last month at $1.49 per GB just at Webair alone!

You want to get that sorted out asap before you start pushing some proper bandwidth or it will cost you a fortune.

Smaller users are always going to pay most - Otherwise larger users will not get the good deals -
My fhg server runs at about 30 mpts a month - My free sites do around 10 mpts - My members server also does 10 mpts - I made a really nice deal to get this with no overages - I still have 25 mpts in hand and I pay under 1000$ a month

why not colocate then you can buy your own server for $1000 / 1500 and pay about $50 rack + $50 / mbps bandwidth work out about $150 a month
