Members Webcam

I am wanting to have a webcam facility in the members area of my site.I dont want to have to perform for another site, but just as and when for my website members. I wanted to also have a chat facility availaible. Maybe cam in one half of screen and chat underneath?
Is this possible? And does anyone know how I can do it?

I have just done a webcam show on Yahoo Messenger that went down really well! But its so hard to cam and cope with all the seperate IMs all the time!

I would like to have a cam show in the free bit of my site to tease people then have another one in the members area for hte 'harder's how, is this possible? does anyone do it on their site?

I'm not sure if this is the kind of thing you are looking for but userplane have a good package USERPLANE (https://www.userplane.com/webchat/) Its a $500 set up then $150 per month for the flash server. You can do some good stuff with this even set it up for per minute billing. They have a free version but without a lot of the better features.

This is also a good one I have it installed on a site I have camchat (http://www.camdate.biz/) with the pro version you can have a guest area where they have to upgrade to premium. It's a $500 set up then about $50 a month for the flash server to run the backend on.

Maybe email them and ask what they use?

there are alot of solutions out there.

Do you want to do one on one shows or shows to all of your members?

Will they be free to members shows, or pay per minute, pay per activity etc?

With regards to the quote text I pulled, my first point would be this can be very detrimentle to your prospective customers.

If you have a free teaser cam on the free side, how often do you think you would be putting on a show?

Remember the internet is open for business 24x7. Unless your shows are scheduled, customers may never be on your tour when you are on your cam which would make your site look dead to them. A black screen on the free cam is not good biz.

Of course a listing of scheduled shows would make a difference. But again will these potential customers remember, or be able to view the show when its on? timezones work and all that etc.

A simple and free option which not only could be displayed on your site but dozens of others, and to people who use the product is the cameraware option

Don't tell anyone but sometimes I used to replay Janey's shows to the unsuspecting surfers.. drawing them like a spider to our janeyweb :blush:

You will be astounded how many people watch an empty chair (even chat about watching the empty chair)

And I know a percentage get bored watching it and signup anyway :guinness:

And you can spice it up by throwing a pair of knickers and a couple of vibes on it.

Heheh that is class! I started out doing cam shows on cameraware. now i dont do shows because i get very agitated with it all. shame really that a few ruined it :(

Heres how it worked.
Members got full streaming moving picture and in the free area, others were welcxome tio join in the chat, (identifiable to layla by the colour of the text on her screen - Green text = Member: Red text = Non Member: Reasoning being she can tell instantly what requests to take) The non members also got a picture, but it was a still picture, that only updated every 30 seconds...

All of this was acheived very easilly, using a product thats free to try for a good period (dont exactly remeber how long, off the top of my head)
and its availible from http://www.webcam32.com/products/webcam32_demo.html

However, that said, just experiment, shes currently trying out www.camz.com
to see if they are any good, (considering that they have been advertising that shes on the network when she wasnt for nearly two years but thats another story)

And if that isnt confusing enough, she will soon be using webcamxp for a while because it does all that webcam32 does, but also, at the same time the show gets streamed to the viewers, it aklso copies itself to the hard drive, as a seperate file in its own right, thats completly web ready for you to upload and archive...

To sum up, what your looking to achieve is actully very simple, and should cost no more than the equivelant of 2 or 3 site memberships for you to own a fully legal copy of the software, abnd be able to camshow whenever the mood takes you...

Ukwebmasters told me about this threa, so i thought i make a post. I've been working on some webcam software for a while now it should be finshd within a month, well V1.

Ccbill promoteable: if you wish to hold a chat outside and tell your affiliate about so they can promote the chat and they will get credit for any sign ups created.

Surfpin: I've been talking to sheetal from surfpin about adding sms sign ups into the system

Camz just banned Faith cos she went on holiday & missed some shows. She emailed them to say when she'd be away but apparently that's not good enough. Then they left her slots open and there were 650 people waiting for a show last night. So, if you sign up with Camz, better forget about going on holiday. Beware.
