Maybe not the welcome the Clazier brothers was expecting :onguard:
Though Im still not sure why the supporters are so against it, is it just the money or is it the fact they are yanks too?

I think the supporters are worried by the Yanks using Man U as their personal bank account - They now have enough shares to take the club off the stock market -
At this point a load of "ifs" come into play.
I see them coming out with such terms as "streamlining" and "downsizing" etc to sort of liquidise a decent % of assets to repay the cost of buying the club, then returning Man U back to the stockmarket - (keeping a large % of the club for themselves and making a huge profit at the same time)

Its only football. Who cares????
Those idiots should get a life.
They can always go and watch another team. Manchester has two two I think.

When I was about 10, my nans brothers, used to go to Leeds united each Saturday. These were your old type, flat cap, working class men. I bet they paid only a pound or two to watch.
These days its just a money making scheme. I am amazed that families go out, buy shirts at £40 or so for every member of the family. Buy extremely expensive tickets to watch. Support players who earn tons of cash and could not give a hoot about the supporters.
This is why football does not interest me.
To me these morons, who have football for there lives are complete idiots. They have no life. I used to have mates who spent all there time watching games, I got board with them. Often these twits are so overweight and unfit, they could not even kick a ball.
And when you get these morons who hate other teams, I cannot believe them. There are people in Leeds that hate people from Manchester just because they support Manchester United? Why.
Often I think that I am the only sane person in the UK.

cos man likes to be in groups, call them herds if you like. the simpliest definition of a group is us vs. those non-us.
you'll find a very similar pattern in religions.
OTOH, telling some ManU guy to support ManC is a tad too much.
ManU at least sounds manly, while ManC soundy like Nancy and thus rather gay.
