yahoo groups, are they of any cash value?

is there any money in yahoo groups?, i have a groups with over 1000 members devoted to a single model. i'm bored of it now though! :D
is there any worth in selling the admin pass?

One of my Yahoo groups has almost 8,000 memberrs and all I do is wait for an activation reminder from Yahoo and set the new members and moderate any waiting posts..

There is zero money in any of these groups as most are joined by under age kids and freeloaders

well, actually. my group has made me a few sales to the models site, not many but they do trickle in. i'm bored of yahoo groups now, thats why i was wondering if its possible (and worth) selling the group,

I know a few people who have made decent money from Yahoo groups. No Nuts does or at least did well out of them.


Infact I helped No Nuts get to the top of Yahoo for adult yahoo groups. Last week he got a letter from Yahoo's solicitors :blush:

TM / Brand infringement.

I got a massive list of webmasters who are also being charged with the same thing. Saw a few names on there I know too, I called them up said I would comply though they had to pay back my costs which they have agreed too.

As for groups, you can make money but more important you can use them to to generate traffic quickly 1K members is nothing my groups were 15K +

I dont have any at the moment though may open some over winter.
