View Full Version : Internet connection back up...
Sorry for those I was speaking to earlier. Internet went down for about 30 minutes. Back up now and running again. What a day! :)
Only 30 mins... I had BT and Orange blaming each other for 4 weeks over why my DSL went down. I used my next door neighbours wi-fi do get on line ....
Be thankful it was only 30 mins.....
BT Business service. 30 minutes is the longest problem we have ever had. :)

Ahh yes the joys of the internet, I know all about that.
We were on the phone for days and days then finally spoke to a chap in BT Business got it sorted within an hour or two, was great. Were switching over very soon ;)
Still have shitty wireless...That is the router though...Even though it was a decent one, the bloody BT fusion wireless router is much better but it doesnt have enough wire port thingies for us to use it :/

The best BT business modem/wireless router is the old 2Wire. We have used them since they launched them a few years back (we have 3 running here now) and have never had a problem. You have to ask for them by name now as they are very expensive and BT don't like giving them away.

Ahhh, I am veyr happy to use the fusion one but that means I cant hook up the PC for playing wow without unplugging something which kinda sucks. Got myself hooked up on the laptop through the sitting room just now though as the wireless is making me pull my hair out!!

The 2Wire can connect up to 4 PCs at once directly with hardwires plus it is also a wireless router too.

Ohhh that sounds nice...Too be honest I moan at him enough for the damned money he spends on the PC nonsense he does...Maybe best not to suggest it to him...lol
People knock BT... but they are still the best by miles............
Even the little indians in Bombay are very good on their help line......

With the business service its just 3 rings (max) and you are through to the business tech guys at Angel.

I hate talking to those fuckers on the other end at BT, they dont speak English!! I mean most of them dont have a clue, then they tell you to do stuff you have already done then when they cant fix it the pass you around to their colleagues till you secretly get cut off, then they dont fucking fix it!!!

You are talking about the standard "punter" service? BT Business is a very different service.
