In the past I've found competitions work best for me.
ie: the opportunity to take part in a shoot, free DVDs, free soiled panties etc.

Also, adult related cross platform up-sell, ie: mail order sale (goods) to web subscription and then re-curing membership in the hope of winning a competition (usually the shoot).

Nicely hit the nail on the head - I know of programmes making 500 sales a day with less than 2000 members - Yet think the 100 or so cross and upsells is brilliant business -
The real money in this industry is in re-bills (Remember, you still have your cancelled members to profit from, but as for risking member upsells over member retention - No way.
