Shooting Locations

i'd be interested in some shooting locations in England, preferably East Sussex (yes, i'm lazy and don't like to drive around much)

obviously anything stunning is worth a longer trip :D

care to share some ideas?

Don’t want to jack your thread or anything but we too are always looking for “interesting” locations for photo and video. As well as paying the fee for the location at a daily rate we pay a very good finders/referral fee as well if it’s something that we can use. The sort of places that we are looking for are traditional houses with *big* rooms, any sort of place with a *good* view from the windows, factories, workshops, gyms but really anything interesting.

the point is to find out where shootings are welcome or at least tolerated, or at the very least run into the lowest risk of being caught. ;)

as our times in the UK are usually full of pre-arranged appointemnts, i lack the time to drive around and check them all out myself.

Theres a beautiful waterfall in scotland.. one of the biggest in scotland if you are interested in that. a bit of a pain to get to but i imagine would make a gorgeous setting.

What type of pics are you wanting to do?

That applys to anyone who is looking for locations, there was a hospital near to where I used to live and was waitig for it to become a bot derelict and I was going to shoot some arty B&W nude pics.

Never got round to it cos somene set light to it and then they tore it dwon and built a housing developement.

Anyway, like I say it depends what youare after, so what are you looking for?

anything really, from a quarry with some big machines to put the model on to nice country houses. also secluded outdoor areas.

Actually I hadn't had a drop when I wrote that.
